FLEX Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal Metairie on behalf of a well-established boutique law firm in Metairie, Louisiana. This highly respected firm focuses on tax law, estate planning, successions, probate administration, and business advisory services for individuals, families, and closely held businesses.

Responsibilities Estate Planning Paralegal Metairie
- Meet with clients and gather information necessary to prepare estate planning and succession documents
- Prepare succession and probate pleadings and obtain supporting documentation from clients
- Research Louisiana laws and legal issues relating to successions, probate matters, and estate administration
- File pleadings with courts throughout Louisiana via e-filing systems and in-person filings when necessary
- Draft and prepare acts of sale and related real estate documents
- E-record documents through CSC and other recording platforms in various parishes and states
- Research property ownership and public records through assessor, conveyance, and court websites
- Track, prepare, and file annual reports for business entities
- Prepare and file Articles of Organization and other organizational filings with Secretary of State offices
- Obtain certified copies of organizational and corporate records from state agencies
- Draft Operating Agreements, Amendments, Bylaws, and other business formation documents
- Prepare business documents including consents, resolutions, stock certificates, and membership certificates
- Draft estate planning documents including Last Wills and Testaments, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Acts of Donation, and related instruments
- Prepare trust agreements, trust amendments, and supporting documentation
- Assist with LLC interests, stock transfers, purchase agreements, and business succession planning documents
- Maintain and manage original estate planning documents, including wills and trust records held by the firm
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, government agencies, financial institutions, and title companies
Qualifications Estate Planning Paralegal Metairie
- Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in estate planning, probate, succession, tax, business, or related legal practice areas
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana succession and probate procedures preferred
- Experience drafting estate planning documents and business entity formation documents
- Familiarity with court filing systems, public records research, and document recording platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
- Professional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional client service
