This firm is known for handling insurance defense and commercial litigation matters. The firm is seeking an attorney who is experienced in defending commercial litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial litigation matters from intake through resolution

• Prepare for and defend depositions, draft motions, conduct legal research, and prepare for hearings

• Serve as second or third chair in trials, arbitrations, and evidentiary hearings

• Manage litigation timelines

• Work directly with partners and clients on complex commercial disputes

• Contribute to case development, discovery plans, and settlement strategy

• Maintain strong organization and meet billable hour expectations

Qualifications for: Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney Downtown New Orleans

• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases with some oversight

• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills

• Louisiana Bar membership in good standing
