Manage a full caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from initial intake through trial preparation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests with little oversight.
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witnesses.
Manage documents and prepare witnesses for testimony and assist in trial strategy.
Handle motion practice, evidentiary issues, and dispositive motions.
Develop trial outlines, including direct and cross-examinations, jury instructions, voir dire, and closing arguments.
Collaborate with firm partners to ensure strategic alignment while enjoying significant autonomy in case management.
Work in-office or remotely depending on preference; flexible part-time or full-time options are available.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Louisiana (or eligible for admission). See Louisiana State Bar eligibility requirements.
Extensive commercial litigation experience, ideally 8+ years.
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently, from inception to trial preparation.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Courtroom experience, including depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple complex matters.
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with a proven track record of handling sophisticated litigation with minimal supervision.
Flexible arrangements: work freelance, part-time, or full-time.
Option to work in-office in New Orleans or remotely.
